After capping its 2005 season with championship crowns for Jody Coseteng and Renan Morales, Race Fans Inc. is headed in for another slew of circuit races at the Subic International Raceway and the Batangas Racing Circuit.
On April 28, 2006 Race Fans head honcho Richard Santos rounds up racers from all divisions at Gerry's Grill at Greenhills Promenade where the 2006 season of the Philippine Touring Car Championship will be given a flying start.
We're in for a bigger grid in 2006 as more car racers join the ruckus. In 2005, we had at least 26 to 30 cars running. This year, we'll be doubling that number and perhaps reach a monumental 60 cars. And that's one for the history books, never has circuit racing the Philippines been so alive.
In the middle of the season last year, we had Uly Maninding join up and now we hear that his brother is joining him. Others are already signing up.
Race Fans Inc. not only brought back PNTCC to life, it has put it on the map of Philippine motorsports! Boo-Yah!
